Job Summary:
Supports customers in the self-service laundry process, such as card system, washers, dryers, and vending machines. Finishes washing, drying, and folding drop-off laundry orders for customers by the set procedures. Operates the point-of-sale system correctly and processes retail transactions. Keeps the store and equipment clean at all times. Trains and supports other attendant personnel. Manages the fulfillment of commercial wash-dry-fold (WDF) contracts. Serves office functions including staff scheduling, policy and procedure development, and inventory management of retail goods and supplies. Possesses strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Available to work weekdays and weekends.
- Has a 95% or higher expected attendance rate at all times. Current staff has an average attendance of 97% or higher in this position.

- Is friendly and helpful towards customers all the time. This is a customer-facing role, which means you’ll be a people person and have to actively interact with customers.
- Helps self-service laundry customers use the card system, washers, dryers, and vending machines.
- Processes washing, drying, and folding (WDF) of drop-off or pickup & delivery (PUD) orders for customers as per procedure that is set.
- Operates the point-of-sale system accurately and finishes retail transactions.
- Maintains the store and equipment cleanliness at all times.
- Trains and assists other attendant personnel.
- Keeps the store clean by cleaning counters, folding tables, machine tops, soap containers, and interiors. Keeps floors dry, clean, and clear of debris. Removes trash bins. Maintains clean and stocked bathrooms, and performs other tasks as required.
- Sweeps and clears the front and side parking lot as well as within the dumpster enclosure.
- Collects trash from the parking lot and area, including the rear of the building.
- Routinely checks and cleans dryer lint screens and filters to maintain maximum efficiency.
- Reports any malfunctions or service issues with equipment to management immediately.
- Exhibits fundamental computer and technology skills to operate the POS and card systems.
- Runs POS and installed scale system in processing WDF orders. Prepares laundry to be processed, loads washing machine with the specified weight, and unloads when washed. Properly uses right amount and correct type of laundry products. Loads and runs dryers with right weights and heats. Folds and packages or hangs items ready for pickup.
- Oversees over-the-counter sales of laundry products including detergent, softener, and laundry bags.
- Provides administrative support, such as policy and procedure preparation, and manages retail and supply inventory levels. Determines order needs and assists with marketing and promotion efforts.
- Trains and assists in managing other attendant personnel to maintain store policy compliance and high performance levels.
- Helps prepare customer-specific procedures for the management and satisfaction of commercial WDF contracts. Ensures efficient completion of contracts on stated terms.
- Performs other laundry, cleaning, and administrative duties as directed by management.
- Consistently exhibits excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Can read, write, and speak English fluently. Spanish is a plus.
- Wears the uniform at all times while on the job.
- Is dependable and trustworthy.
- Performs assigned shift-related cleaning duties for the day.
